Our story

While sitting in a local coffee shop in Ohio, the Founder, Sonny Barnes came up with the idea of starting a coffee roasting business. After several years of research and development, in 2015, Black Street Coffee Roasters was birthed and started roasting specialty coffee for an exclusive cliental. Black Street Coffee Roasters now sell fresh roasted specialty coffee and high quality tea on our online store and our Mobile Coffee Café. In addition to our coffee and tea, we sell gourmet sandwiches, crepes and pastries on our Mobile Coffee truck.

We have a philosophy of balance—a balance of old techniques and new ones, of high quality ingredients and flavors, and of passion and skill.
